Joshua Tree Superbloom - an original watercolour on heavyweight rag paper, framed.

This piece was inspired by a road trip last Spring chasing superblooms around California. When I arrived at Joshua Tree, I was so lucky to see the entire desert in bloom. What is usually vast and desolate had sprung to life with so much beauty and colour that I could't wait to get back to my studio and capture it.

Three Sleeping Jaguars - an original watercolour inspired by the diverse and beautiful wildlife found in South and Central America on heavyweight rag paper, framed. 

Three jaguars collapse into a deep sleep after a long night of hunting. Surrounded by a blanket of stars, these majestic cats have quite forgotten the dangers of the jungle as they lose themselves in their dreams.

Inspired by my trip chasing superblooms around California and ending up in the beautiful, vast desert of Death Valley and Zabriskie Point. The painting features colourful sands and all kinds of unexpected wildlife.

Although inspired by the natural world, this painting quickly morphes from the recognisable to the dreamlike in this playful and bright compostition, transporting the viewer into the known unknown.
