The Big Stretch is inspired by the wildlife of South and Central America. This giant watercolour encapsulates the dream of life in the wild. Although inspired by the natural world, this painting quickly morphes from the recognisable to the dreamlike in this playful and bright compostition, transporting the viewer into the known unknown.
Portrait 84 cm x 59 cm
Metropolis is inspired by hustle and bustle of reef life. Taking inspiration from all types of water environments, this is playful depiction of life underwater, the way most people would like to think of it, when they close their eyes and dream.
An original watercolour inspired by the enchanting wildlife in India, on handmade rag paper, framed.
I was lucky enough to travel to Kanha in India, the place where Rudyard Kipling was inspired to write his 'Just So stories'. We were up at dawn to spot tigers, monkeys, leopards in their natural habitat. Even so, I couldn't help imagining a scene when the humans go home and the animals come out to take back their jungle...
Lost in China - an original watercolour on heavyweight rag paper, framed.
As the title suggests, this painting is based on a detailed depiction of the wildlife in China which takes the viewer into a slightly surreal and dreamlike world with pandas, playful monkeys, peonies and golden pheasants.
Inspired by the beautiful and increasingly endangered wildlife of China. Enter a dreamlike setting, void of a human footprint, where nature can thrive and grow.

Joshua Tree Superbloom - an original watercolour on heavyweight rag paper, framed.
This piece was inspired by a road trip last Spring chasing superblooms around California. When I arrived at Joshua Tree, I was so lucky to see the entire desert in bloom. What is usually vast and desolate had sprung to life with so much beauty and colour that I could't wait to get back to my studio and capture it.
